Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding contract opportunity awaits skilled Speech-Language Pathologists ready to make an impact in elementary education. This full-time position runs through June 11, 2027, and offers the chance to support young learners while collaborating with dedicated educators. You'll work 35 hours per week onsite, engaging with elementary caseloads and potentially splitting your time between two school sites. Immediate start dates are available, so those with an active CT SLP license who are ready to begin swiftly are highly valued.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Connecticut School-based SLP experience is required ASHA CCCs are highly encouraged but Clinical Fellows (CFs) with supervisory access will be considered Ability to meet district background and fingerprinting requirements Strong organizational skills to manage caseload across more than one site High degree of professionalism and dedication to supporting young students SLPAs are not eligible for consideration
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessments, evaluations, and individualized therapy for elementary-age students Travel between two school sites within the district, if necessary Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to facilitate student success Participate in team meetings and attend required trainings Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students This is an onsite, full-time contract through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, with supervision for Clinical Fellows available—though district supervisory capacity is limited. Immediate onboarding for candidates with completed credentials and proactive licensing is preferred.
