Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a high school setting located in West Hartford, CT. This contract opportunity runs through the current school year and offers a part-time schedule of 8-10 hours weekly, supporting middle and high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in a school environment Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) onsite, as virtual supervision does not comply with CT regulations Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school district policies and state guidelines
Qualifications:
Hold a valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Possess Connecticut Educational Certification in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with middle and high school populations within school settings Ability to provide onsite supervision to SLPAs, ensuring compliance with state requirements
