9518064-19701 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLPA) for the 2026/27 school year. From August 19, 2026, through June 11, 2027, make a meaningful impact near Bear, DE, working with energetic and diverse learners. Whether youre a seasoned SLP, a Clinical Fellow, or an SLPA, your skills will help shape communication outcomes in a school-centered environment that values teamwork and student growth.
What Youll Bring:
Valid or pending Delaware SLP or SLPA licensure Experience or coursework in school-based or pediatric
SLP/SLPA
settings Healthcare SLP skills are a plus Comfort working onsite across K-12 grade levels Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Spanish competency is an asset, though not required Enthusiasm for flexible scheduling and adapting to new challenges
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language services to K-12 students Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes Maintain thorough documentation and stay in compliance with state/school guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and support individual programming Engage in ongoing professional development (CF supervision and SLPA supervision available) Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
