School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Bear, Delaware

Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting young learners as an onsite, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in an elementary setting. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment focused on fostering student communication and academic progress. You will collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families, ensuring each student receives tailored support to reach their full potential. Qualifications and Desired Experience Valid, active Delaware SLP license required Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous school-based SLP experience highly desirable Comfortable working exclusively onsite with elementary-aged children Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and priorities Key Responsibilities Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students within an elementary caseload Assess communication abilities and develop individualized treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Maintain timely, detailed documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom Serve as a dedicated resource for fostering students' social and academic communication skills Additional Details Assignment runs from ASAP through June 16, 2027 Full time: 37.5 hours per week Onsite position only; reliable transportation is essential Interviews conducted via Zoom (1530 minutes) This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference, leveraging your expertise in an inclusive, collaborative school environment.
