Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working with early childhood and elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in students lives and building communication skills that foster academic and personal success. Key Qualifications:
Hold a valid Delaware SLP license (required) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Experience with pediatric populations and/or previous school-based assignments preferred Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and school-based documentation Confidence collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to early childhood and elementary school-aged students Develop, deliver, and document individualized treatment plans addressing a range of communication disorders Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families to maximize student progress Maintain thorough, timely records compliant with school and state guidelines Consult with staff regarding strategies and accommodations for students speech and language needs Serve one school site, focusing on building relationships and consistency with your caseload
