  • Dover, DE | Special Education School Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Dover, Delaware.
This position is within a special education school serving primarily PreK and elementary-aged students, with the potential to work with students up to age 22.
Position Details:
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Starting ASAP
  • June 16, 2027
  • Primarily PreK and elementary, with students up to age 22
  • Special education school setting
  • Student population includes individuals with Autism and moderate to significant support needs
  • Onsite only

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs.
  • Support students with a range of communication needs, including students with Autism and more significant support needs.
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized IEP goals.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate data and documentation.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers, and other school staff.
  • Implement individualized communication strategies to support students' functional and academic needs.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active or eligible Delaware SLP licensure/certification
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience working with students with Autism and significant support needs strongly preferred
  • Experience with AAC and functional communication is a plus
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
  • Must be available to work onsite
