Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students' communication growth in a welcoming school-based setting near Middletown, DE. This full-time, contract position is open to dedicated professionals, including travelers who may qualify for tax-free stipends. As an integral part of a collaborative educational team, you'll deliver evidence-based therapy services to students, positively impacting their academic success and daily lives. Your clinical expertise will help shape effective communication strategies within a nurturing environment while benefiting from strong professional support.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license required Previous experience as a school-based SLP Proficiency or experience in American Sign Language is a plus, but not mandatory Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services and assessments to students as outlined in IEPs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and progress monitoring Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address students' needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
