Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract As a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow, you'll play a vital role in supporting students from kindergarten through age 22, including those with moderate to severe disabilities. This full-time contract opportunity near Milford, DE, offers 37.5 hours per week in a dynamic educational setting. You'll work alongside a committed team, making a real difference in the lives of children and young adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver impactful speech-language therapy addressing articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, social language, and receptive/expressive language delays Implement and support the use of assistive technology and augmentative communication Perform diagnostic assessments and evaluations, delivering meaningful and thorough reports Foster social and communicative growth through IEP development and monitoring Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to support individual student goals Contribute insights and expertise for students with varying levels of ability, including those with autism or complex needs
Qualifications:
Delaware state SLP license, or eligibility to obtain (SLP-CCC or CFY welcomed) Experience with moderate to severe disabilities is advantageous Skilled communicator and proactive collaborator Flexible, resourceful, and positive team player This role provides a stable, full-time schedule and offers competitive compensation based on your experience, with weekly pay you can count on.
