9592875-33834 Job Description Bring your passion for pediatric speech-language pathology to an impactful role serving pre-K students in a supportive school environment near Bowling Green, FL. This contract opportunity begins August 2026 and runs through May 2027, offering 25 hours each week over 3-4 days. You'll contribute your expertise to help young learners develop crucial communication and language skills during their formative early education years.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered Valid state license (or eligibility) required for school-based practice Experience with pediatric, pre-K, or school-age populations preferred Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy plans
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for pre-K students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents Deliver direct therapy services in individual and small group settings Maintain timely and accurate progress documentation, reporting, and compliance records Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Provide guidance to support staff, teachers, and family members on strategies to enhance student communication Adapt therapy to diverse learning and cultural needs within the early childhood setting This school-based contract SLP opportunity lets you make a meaningful impact with a flexible schedule and a focused caseload, giving you time to build genuine relationships with young students at a critical stage in their development.
