What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

- plus tools to reduce windshield time Paid training and mentorship The evaluation visit rate for this role ranges from $75-90 per visit Key Responsibilities Deliver in-home speech therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in your community Evaluate patient communication, cognition, and swallowing to develop individualized treatment goals Implement effective rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs Educate patients and families on recovery plans and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely home health care documentation per Medicare and agency standards Requirements Active Speech Therapist (SLP-CCC) license in good standing BLS CPR certification Reliable transportation to see patients in their homes Basic comfort with technology•email, texting, EMR systems (training provided) Apply today or contact Sunny at 512-885-3525 or sbranham@inhometherapy.
