Role:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in our residents. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help our residents achieve their maximum potential, while providing ongoing communication with families and healthcare teams. Your expertise will enable our residents to regain their independence, improve their quality of life, and enhance their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of residents' communication and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific communication and swallowing goals Provide speech therapy services to residents, including group and individual treatments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, treatments, and progress Participate in staff education and training programs to stay current with best practices and research
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program Florida State licensure in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Minimum 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting
