Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across various age groups, including early intervention populations. Develop individualized speech-language therapy plans based on assessment results, ensuring targeted intervention strategies. Implement therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices in both in-person and telehealth formats to address a wide range of speech and language impairments. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into classroom activities. Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches as needed to maximize outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Educate families about speech-language development and strategies for supporting communication at home and in the community. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with eligibility to work in a school environment in Florida. Proven experience working with pediatric populations, including children with disabilities or speech impairments. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physiology relevant to speech and language processes. Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Familiarity with medical terminology related to speech-language pathology is preferred. Experience implementing speech therapy plans for early intervention programs is highly desirable. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient record management. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams including educators, therapists, and healthcare providers. Telehealth experience is a plus, especially in delivering remote speech-language therapy sessions. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on parent collaboration and education.
