A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting communication and language development for PK-8th grade students. Bring your expertise as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to a single school site, working with a manageable caseload of 75-80 students. This role offers the unique chance to make a measurable impact on students' educational journeys in a collaborative, welcoming setting.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current or eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials Experience in school-based SLP practice highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to tailor therapeutic interventions to a diverse student population Familiarity with developing and implementing

IEPs Your Impact:

Conduct evaluations and deliver speech and language therapy to students in grades PK-8 Write and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring documentation is accurate and current Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to deliver comprehensive communication support Engage in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for student needs Track student progress and adjust therapy methods as needed Provide support, education, and training to caregivers and school staff when appropriate
