Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position at a school located in Inverness, FL, beginning in August and continuing through the end of the school year. This role offers the opportunity to support a caseload of approximately 40 students, working alongside another certified SLP to deliver effective therapy services in a dedicated space within the school.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services to students with varying communication needs. Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor student progress. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school programs.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including CCC or CFY credentials. Experience working in school settings preferred. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with staff and families. Organized and able to maintain thorough documentation.
Location and Schedule:
Position is based in Inverness, Florida. Contract runs from August through the end of the school year. On-site work with a dedicated therapy space provided.
