- Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to our Acute Care Rehab Team in Jacksonville, FL.
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluates, diagnoses, develops and implements a treatment plan for patients of all diagnoses. Provides care for patients who present with a variety of medical conditions and deficits which impact communication, language development, oral motor skills, and feeding safety and efficiency. Diagnoses which commonly impact these developmental areas include prematurity, neurological, respiratory, cardiac, GI, genetic, craniofacial and developmental delay. Provides extensive patient/family education. Participates in multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nursing, physicians, dietitians, social services, respiratory, support staff, etc. Works in a fast-paced setting requiring good time management, detailed documentation skills in the EMR, self-directed, and effective communication skills.Experience Requirements:
1 or more year(s) of pediatric acute care Speech Language Pathology Experience strongly preferredSpeech/Language Experience Voice and Neuro Experience Education & Credential Requirements:
