Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse populations. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life by implementing effective therapy plans tailored to each individual's needs. This position offers the opportunity to work with pediatric and adult patients, including those in early intervention, school settings, and geriatric care, utilizing innovative approaches such as telehealth therapy. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for patients across various age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans based on assessment results and patient needs Provide direct therapy sessions through in-person or telehealth platforms, utilizing evidence-based techniques for speech therapy and language therapy Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care strategies Educate patients and their families on communication strategies, exercises, and progress monitoring to support ongoing improvement Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems Stay current with advances in physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and best practices in speech-language pathology to enhance service quality Skills Extensive experience working with children in pediatric populations, early intervention programs, or school settings Proven ability to develop and execute effective speech-language therapy plans tailored to individual needs Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions Skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments for speech impairments and language disorders Experience working with individuals with disabilities or speech impairments across diverse settings Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering remote services effectively Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including educators, healthcare providers, and family members Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology practice Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management Working knowledge of working with geriatric patients on swallowing disorders or communication challenges Commitment to patient care excellence with a positive attitude towards continuous learning Join us as a Speech-Language Pathologist where your expertise will foster meaningful improvements in communication for individuals of all ages. Pay:
$48.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
