This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP looking for flexible PRN work and control over their schedule and geographic area . Choose the area you are comfortable covering and build a small caseload around your availability. Our practice specializes in adult Medicare Part B outpatient therapy , serving individuals in their homes and residential settings. Patients may present with neurological conditions, cognitive-communication disorders, aphasia, dysarthria, voice disorders, and/or dysphagia. independent contractor position. Responsibilities Provide skilled speech-language pathology evaluations and treatment to adult patients. Develop individualized plans of care and functional treatment goals. Treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders within the clinician's scope of competence. Provide patient, family, and caregiver education and training. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record. Communicate and collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate. Maintain high standards of patient-centered, evidence-based care. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Florida Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Experience with adult and/or geriatric populations preferred. Experience with neurological conditions, cognitive-communication disorders, and dysphagia preferred. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a home-based setting. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within your selected geographic service area.
