Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity as an onsite Speech Language Pathologist supporting students from pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact working with a diverse caseload of approximately 60+ young learners, helping them develop essential communication skills in a dynamic school setting near Port Charlotte, FL.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Hold a valid SLP license SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations and school-based settings Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals, educators, and families Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique goals Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to support student success Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Provide consultation and support to staff as needed In addition to making a significant impact in the lives of students, you'll enjoy a supportive work environment.
