Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Port Charlotte, FL, providing a dynamic environment focused on supporting student communication needs. This onsite role is ideal for professionals holding credentials such as SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-School, looking to apply their expertise in a school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification and licensure applicable to schools Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred Experience working in school environments with diverse student populations Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills tailored to pediatric clients
Location:
Onsite position based in Port Charlotte, FL, offering a chance to work within a vibrant community and collaborate directly with students and educators.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Monitor and document student performance and modify interventions as needed Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and professional development activities
Additional Details:
Full-time position ensuring consistent treatment delivery and student support Interviewing scheduled for mid to late April, allowing preparation time for interested candidates This is a travel assignment with onsite duties only This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication abilities within a supportive school setting.
