This contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists ready to support student growth in vibrant educational communities. These positions offer the flexibility of both part-time (14-21 hours/week) or full-time (35 hours/week) schedules, and assignments may be combined for those seeking a full-time role. You will work onsite alongside passionate educators, either as part of a collaborative SLP team or as an independent specialist making a difference at a smaller campus.
What Were Looking For:
Active Florida SLP license Experience working with school-aged children from PreK through 8th grade is highly valued Ability to manage caseloads across one or two schools, depending on assignment Strong communication and documentation skills Comfort working both collaboratively and independently within school environments Must meet district requirements for fingerprinting; AHCA clearinghouse compatible if previously printed Availability for on-site badge pickup and onboarding prior to start date
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy tailored to elementary and middle school students Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents Maintain accurate records in accordance with district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
