A school near Wauchula, FL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide expert support to pre-K students during the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligibility for CCC-SLP or strong CFY candidates considered Florida SLP license (or willingness to obtain) Experience with pre-K/pediatric populations preferred Proficiency in individualized education plans (IEPs) and school-based documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families Enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy for pre-K students with speech, language, and communication challenges Assess students and develop individualized intervention plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor and document student progress Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for educational planning Maintain detailed records and contribute to a supportive learning atmosphere
