Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Florida SLP or SLPA license required Previous experience in school-based or healthcare speech-language pathology settings, particularly with pediatric populations Ability to handle a caseload of approximately 40 diverse K-8 students Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and seasoned SLPs/SLPAs encouraged to apply Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passion for working collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite speech-language therapy services 2-3 days per week, totaling 16 hours weekly Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with educators and support teams to implement effective interventions Facilitate positive and inclusive learning environments that promote student communication
