9689490-30101 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant school community near Acworth, GA. This full-time position involves working with a dedicated caseload of young learners, utilizing your expertise to help students reach their communication goals. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through May 2027, offering stability and the chance to make a meaningful impact over multiple school years.
Qualifications:
Active and valid Georgia SLP license SLP-CCC credential preferred Prior experience in school settings or with elementary-aged children is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to elementary students on your caseload Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans tailored to each students unique needs Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress and integrate therapy into the classroom Maintain clear documentation of services delivered, student goals, and progress reports Attend IEP meetings and participate actively as part of the educational team This opportunity offers a weekly pay structure, with compensation between $45 and $50 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life coverage, a matching 401k package, and the option for a flexible spending account.
