A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Georgia SLP license (or eligibility for licensure) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued Strong assessment and documentation skills Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities Key responsibilities: Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency needs Conduct screenings, comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to support student success Maintain thorough records and prepare reports according to school and state standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Offer consultative support to classroom staff regarding communication strategies This contract role brings a competitive compensation package, access to comprehensive benefits, 401k plan, and the potential for bonuses that recognize your dedicated contributions.
