What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress/completed Prior pediatric experience in school-based or healthcare settings Strong knowledge of teletherapy platforms is a plus Skills in completing assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing therapy for diverse student needs Comfort working independently or collaborating with multidisciplinary teams SLPA supervision skills are an advantage for candidates with experienceKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in-person at elementary, middle, or high school campuses Complete evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation Consult with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and assist in goal setting for student progress Adapt therapy methods to meet the varied needs of students Support and mentor SLPAs, if applicableBenefits & Perks:
