This full-time opportunity is located near Macon, GA, supporting students in grades K12 with a wide range of communication needs. Caseloads are tailored based on your experience and preferences, offering assignments from moderate to profound needs. Both local and travel professionals are welcome to apply.
Key Experience and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current state licensure and eligibility as an SLP in Georgia Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with early childhood, elementary, or pediatric populations Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and treatment strategies for pediatric populations Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators, families, and support staff Familiarity with IEPs and progress monitoring preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students academic success Maintain accurate records of progress, attendance, and compliance Participate in eligibility meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
