Qualifications:

Hold a current Speech-Language Pathology license for Georgia (GA SLP License). Possess a valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate. Achieved Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Experience delivering speech therapy in K-12 educational settings preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Comfortable working onsite and engaging with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services according to each students Individualized Education Program (IEP). Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders, and track student progress. Develop and implement tailored intervention plans fostering student achievement. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, families, and other professionals to maximize student support. Participate in IEP meetings and school-based teams, contributing clinical expertise. Maintain required records and ensure compliance with state, federal, and school policies.
