The position supports students in both preschool and grades K-5, making a meaningful impact within a diverse learning environment. Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with preschool and elementary populations Knowledgeable in evaluating and treating speech/language disorders in children aged 3-11 Proficient in writing and facilitating IEP meetings Able to complete eligibility assessments and documentation efficiently Collaborative spirit and effective interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy to students in preschool through fifth grade Conduct comprehensive assessments for eligibility and ongoing progress monitoring Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with special education teams and families Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and thorough communication Maintain accurate records and timely documentation for all assigned students Consistently communicate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress Adapt therapy techniques and materials to meet a range of student needs Enjoy the unique experience of supporting students during a valued team members maternity leave, while honing a broad skill set across multiple age groups.
