Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. We are seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year at a school near Eden, ID. This contract position offers a meaningful opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative school environment while supporting diverse learners.

Contract Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a special education setting Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff to enhance student learning and success Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress with parents and colleagues
Qualifications:
Professional Educator License (PEL) with Self-Contained General Education Endorsement or Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license Substitute Teacher License or Short Term Substitute License required Experience working with school-age students preferred but not mandatory Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and adapt to student needs
