Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a school setting located in Arlington Heights, IL. This contract position runs from March 30th through the end of the school year, with the potential for renewal. The role focuses on providing speech therapy services primarily to children in 2nd through 4th grade.
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students aged approximately 7 to 10 years old Deliver both in-person and teletherapy services tailored to pediatric clients Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with educational and therapeutic best practices Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support students' communication goals Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all relevant school and healthcare regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches to student development
Qualifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare environments Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or current status acceptable Skilled in teletherapy delivery and knowledgeable about remote speech therapy protocols Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team This position offers an engaging environment to support student communication development through both traditional and innovative therapy methods.
