9538941-60004 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity serving young learners as a speech-language pathologist in a contract, onsite position supporting K-2 students with special needs. This part-time role, located near Arlington Heights, IL, offers the chance to make a significant impact through dedicated, direct work with a small caseload in a supportive school environment. For the 2026-2027 school year, this position involves working 7 hours per week with a caseload of just nine students. Orientation for new hires is scheduled from August 12th to August 14th, setting the stage for a smooth transition into your responsibilities. A strong Clinical Fellow (CF) will be considered, making this a great step for early-career SLPs, as well as those with their CCCs. This contract position is onsite only, allowing you to actively collaborate with fellow educators and therapists.
Qualifications and Essential Skills:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current and active Illinois SLP license (please include a screenshot with your application) Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) School-based SLP experience is a plus, but a strong clinical fellowship candidate can also be considered Commitment to serving K-2 students with diverse speech and language needs Ability to work onsite each week as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of nine K-2 students Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Document sessions and progress as required by state and district guidelines Participate in team meetings and ongoing student support planning Embrace this chance to enrich young lives through high-impact intervention.
