Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in students lives by working as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist in a supportive school setting near Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time, onsite contract role spans from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. While the specific caseload will be determined closer to your start date, your expertise will be vital in developing communication skills and supporting a diverse range of learners.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (ISBE PEL) with a Speech-Language endorsement. Maintain a current Illinois State License (IDFPR). Experience in a school environment preferred, especially working with bilingual populations. Candidates who have earned the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) are strongly encouraged to apply. First-year SLPs (CF-SLPs) are welcome for consideration. SLP Assistants (SLP-As) may be considered if specified in qualifications.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students. Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff in developing IEPs and intervention plans. Complete thorough assessments, track student progress, and provide timely documentation. Foster an inclusive and culturally responsive atmosphere that prioritizes student growth and communication. Participate in team meetings and professional development to enhance service delivery.
