Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding summer opportunity as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students during the Extended School Year session. This contract position is conveniently scheduled Monday through Thursday, from 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM, spanning May 27th and June 1-25, 2026. You'll play a meaningful role in helping students within a self-contained environment better achieve their individual education goals. Your ability to tailor instruction and structure schedules will be key, as you'll be the primary SLP delivering IEP minutes to ESY students. From planning engaging therapy sessions to tracking student progress, your expertise in school-based speech services will shape a positive, impactful summer experience for your caseload.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working in K-12 school settings highly desirable Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Ability to collaborate with teachers, students, and families Strong organizational and communication skillsResponsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy in accordance with student IEPs Create and manage a therapy schedule for students in a self-contained classroom Develop, implement, and modify instructional plans to meet unique student needs Maintain detailed records of sessions, progress, and attendance Collaborate with special education staff and families regarding student progress Participate in team meetings as needed If you have a passion for helping students and the skills to create a supportive, enriching environment, take the next step toward a purposeful summer. to shape young learners' success during their extended school year and make a difference with every session! Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
