Desired Qualifications:
Active Illinois SLP license and PEL (Professional Educator License) SLP-CCC credentials required Previous experience in school-based therapy with adolescents preferred Commitment to collaborative, student-centered service Must be available for either full-time (up to 37.5 hours/week) or part-time schedules High degree of adaptability and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to high school students on a caseload of up to 60 (typically starting around 30) Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborate with school teams Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Engage families and teachers in supporting students' progress Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
