Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take the next step in your speech-language pathology career with an engaging opportunity to work with elementary-age students in a supportive school environment. This contract role provides the chance to make a lasting impact while collaborating with dedicated educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure as an SLP Previous experience in a school-based setting, ideally with elementary students Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
What You'll Do:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students during the school day Evaluate students to determine speech, language, or communication needs Develop and monitor individualized therapy plans and goals in alignment with IEPs Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and support staff to foster student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school guidelines Communicate progress and strategies to families and educational teams This position offers a 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with daily hours from 8:20am to 3:50pm. The contract runs from October 14, 2026, through May 26, 2027, providing both stability and a clear timeline for your planning.
