Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a therapeutic day school setting near Des Plaines, IL. You'll make a positive difference in the lives of students, working Monday through Friday with a manageable caseload. Be part of a supportive environment, focusing on helping approximately 20 students communicate, thrive, and reach their fullest potential through the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Illinois SLP license Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Previous school-based or pediatric therapy experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Snapshot of Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of about 20 students Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned to IEP goals Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families for comprehensive care Participate actively in IEP meetings and progress reporting Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with school policies Support a positive, inclusive, and therapeutic learning environment Enjoy these
