Your expertise will help students in grades 9 through 12 achieve their communication goals and succeed academically. This position offers a consistent schedule, beginning August 13, 2026, and concluding June 3, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience serving high school populations in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of adolescent language, articulation, fluency, and social-pragmatic needs Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists Organized, adaptable, and skilled in maintaining documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades 9-12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services, both individually and in small groups Monitor progress, update goals, and maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and district standards Participate in IEP meetings, staffings, and professional development as required Offer guidance and support to teachers and families on effective communication strategies Engage in ongoing collaboration with other related service personnel and school staff This contract opportunity allows you to make a significant impact on students' academic and personal achievements.
