Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful opportunity to support students' communication growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract, full-time role allows you to make a lasting impact, guiding learners from early childhood through young adulthood (ages 3-21), depending on school assignment. As an in-person SLP, you'll use your skills to foster positive outcomes and help students find their voice.

Key Requirements:

Active Illinois SLP license required Professional Educator License (PEL) Comfortable working onsite, five days a week Available to start as soon as possible and continue through June 1, 2027 Experience or passion for working with students across a wide age range Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to eligible students Conduct speech-language assessments and contribute to IEP development Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary Serve as a resource to school staff on communication, language, and related topics Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and district requirements Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere within the educational environment Experience the rewards of empowering students in an interactive, onsite setting.
