Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow, offering dedicated FMLA coverage from February 1, 2027, to May 24, 2027. This opportunity is situated in a welcoming community near Oregon, IL, and features a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week. The diverse caseload includes a specialized day school, high school students, and pre-school walk-ins—ensuring rich, varied experience in your daily work.

What We're Looking For:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or interest in working within educational settings Ability to effectively engage diverse student populations, from preschoolers to teens Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Your Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored speech and language therapy services to students across various age groups and needs Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and track student progress Participate in monthly meetings and roundtable discussions with fellow professionals Collaborate with a same-discipline supervisor and engage in regular 1:1 check-ins with leadership Utilize testing materials and up-to-date equipment provided for your role Take part in process improvement initiatives and share ideas for efficient, high-quality service delivery Enjoy access to professional development resources to continually grow your expertise
