Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Current and valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Recent experience working within a school environment highly valued. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff. Commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting a variety of communication challenges. Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings. Conduct regular progress monitoring and adjust interventions as needed. Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to support student achievement. Work closely with teachers and school teams to integrate communication strategies into classroom instruction. Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to promote communication-rich learning environments.
