8732819-60586 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students with diverse speech and language needs. This onsite role nearby Plainfield, IL, is ideal for speech-language pathologists passionate about empowering students to overcome communication barriers and succeed academically and socially. Youll provide direct services to a caseload of approximately 25 students diagnosed with a range of learning disabilities. Work alongside a collaborative team in a structured, supportive environment where you can make a direct impact throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to high school students in individual and group settings Assess and track student progress, updating goals as appropriate Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for each student on your caseload Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Maintain detailed documentation according to district and legal guidelines Participate in student-centered meetings and contribute expertise in speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid Illinois state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
ASHA CCC-SLP
preferred Experience working with high school students and knowledge of varied learning disabilities Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Schedule & Details:
