9056649-60471 Job Description An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students in a dynamic educational setting near Richton Park, IL. This contract position focuses on delivering quality speech and language therapy to a manageable caseload, making a meaningful difference in students lives.

What Youll Need:

Current Speech-Language Pathologist - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) Experience or interest in working with high school-aged students Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and families Knowledge in addressing Specific Learning Disabilities, particularly in a school-based setting

Role Details:

Part-time schedule: 3 days per week, tailored for work-life balance Manage a caseload of approximately 35 high school students, mostly with Specific Learning Disabilities Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions, including assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and progress monitoring Collaborate with educators, counselors, and special education teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Serve as a resource for staff and families on communication strategies and student progress Start date is as soon as possible, with the position extending through May 27th
