Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication development in school-aged children Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or related setting is highly valued, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educators and specialists Provide direct speech-language therapy services to children in individual and group settings Track student progress and communicate results to parents, teachers, and support personnel Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation compliant with state and federal guidelines
