Key Qualifications:
Current Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required (please provide screenshots as proof) Certification as an SLP-CCC preferred, although strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) will also be considered Experience in school-based environments or with K-2 age groups strongly desired Ability to work efficiently onsite and independently manage a caseload of nine students Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-2 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with state and local requirements Participate in new hire orientation from 8/12 to 8/14 (dates tentative)
