Key Qualifications:

Active Illinois SLP license required Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement (as required by Illinois state guidelines) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior school-based SLP experience highly desired Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students Deliver targeted speech-language therapy sessions in alignment with IEP goals Provide consultations and collaborate with educators, parents, and support personnel Maintain timely records, progress reports, and compliance documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning Offer professional development or training support as needed within the school
