Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech and language services in a dynamic school environment. This full-time contract opportunity at the intermediate level focuses on supporting students in 2nd through 4th grades during the 2026-2027 school year. As a valued team member, you'll play an important role in fostering communication skills and empowering students to reach their greatest potential.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) certification required Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is highly desirable Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement and generalization of skills Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and documentation Maintain accurate records and uphold district and professional standards Contribute to a supportive, inclusive educational environment for all students This position offers highly competitive compensation with weekly pay, so you'll be rewarded for your expertise and dedication.
