Middle schoolResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments using standardized tests and other appropriate evaluation tools. Identify students' speech, language, and communication needs and develop appropriate intervention plans. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and speech-language goals. Provide individual and small-group speech and language therapy based on students' specific needs. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies and intervention plans as needed. Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, special education staff, and other related-service professionals. Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers and families regarding strategies to support students' communication skills. Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and other student-support meetings as required. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, treatment records, progress reports, and recommendations. Ensure services are provided in accordance with applicable Illinois special education requirements and district policies.Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current and appropriate Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist licensure/credentials. Knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based assessment and intervention practices. Understanding of special education procedures, IEP development, and compliance requirements. Experience providing speech and language services in a school or educational setting preferred. Strong communication, organization, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team. Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
