9685589-47421 Job Description Make an impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming school environment near Bedford, IN. This rewarding contract position is open to both part-time and full-time professionals, offering valuable experience for seasoned SLPs (CCC), those pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or candidates with school-based SLP expertise. Youll work closely with students who have needs in both special education and general education settings, collaborating with educators and families to support communication skills and developmental growth.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current Indiana (IN) SLP licensure is required Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials encouraged Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but recent graduates are welcome Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities Enthusiasm for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse student caseload, spanning SI (significant involvement) and general education populations Conduct assessment and evaluation of communication disorders and develop appropriate, individualized intervention plans Work collaboratively with other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records and reports Attend and participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning for student services Educate and consult with teachers and family members to facilitate communication strategies and interventions This flexible opportunity enables you to shape your experience, whether you seek part-time or full-time engagement.
