Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations and school-aged children Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with school documentation Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy for various speech and language disorders Excellent interpersonal skills for parent, staff, and student collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for students with communication disorders Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams Deliver individual and group therapy, adjusting approaches for elementary, middle, or high school caseloads depending on assignment Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and document interventions as required by school and state guidelines Educate teachers and families on communication strategies to support student success Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment Youll thrive in this role if you are adaptable, communicative, and dedicated to student growth.
