9653168-47429 Job Description Step into a contract opportunity where your speech-language pathology expertise will have a meaningful impact on students in grades 2-3, with the possibility of serving a wider age range. Starting August 3rd, 2026, and continuing through May 24th, 2027, this engaging position offers a flexible schedule of 18-21 hours per week over 3-5 days, providing a rewarding balance of professional fulfillment and personal time. With a manageable caseload of 30-50 students across 2-3 school sites, youll be a valued resource helping shape communication skills and academic progress.
Qualifications:
Hold active and current Indiana licensure for SLP in the school setting Experience working in schools is highly desirable Familiarity with IEP processes and service delivery in compliance with educational standards Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and fellow support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy per each students IEP Evaluate and reevaluate students as part of their service cycle Serve as Teacher of Record (TOR) and Teacher of Service (TOS) for student caseload Organize, facilitate, and participate in IEP meetings Maintain detailed records and ensure documentation aligns with district and state mandates Adapt and individualize interventions for diverse learning needs This contract position is ideal for passionate SLPs looking to make a tangible difference while enjoying part-time hours within a school environment.
